The New Allotment Expert: potatoes - Solanum tuberosums

The potatoes - Solanum tuberosums are doing well and were earthed up about a month ago. The best is the potato on the patio growing in a bag of compost. Massive growth and I have high hopes that the spuds themselves will be large too.

The New Allotment is under a drought order.

So watering cans only at the moment. Still, the whole place is looking lush and my new cordless strimmer will clear the grasss tomorrow. As for the grape vines, two are producing lots of leafy growth while the other two are producing nothing but dead twigs. Still I will be patient with them.
